PIPE PACKAGING / PLANNING GUIDE

How to brief a pipe-packaging project

A practical starting point for discussing equipment configuration.

01

Describe the pipe

Include material, outside diameter, length, wall thickness where relevant, and the condition of the pipe as it leaves the upstream line.

02

Define the finished pack

State the number of pipes per bag or bundle, the required bag format, sealing preference and any end-cap requirements.

03

Show the production layout

Share the output arrangement, spacing, direction of travel, available floor area and downstream handling needs.

04

Set the project requirements

Discuss the required production rhythm, power supply, utilities and acceptance criteria directly with the project team. These are inputs for a proposal, not pre-confirmed equipment specifications.
